The decision by the Pakistani government to increase the price of petrol by 5 rupees per litre has caused severe inflation and put many people in a terrible financial situation. Individuals and families in Pakistan have faced tremendous hardships as a result of the new price of 272 rupees per litre.

It was recently announced that the nation’s oil reserves are depleting. Although the government denied the rumours, commuters still had problems, especially in Punjab. Many individuals who are trying to make ends meet in the face of rising prices and economic instability have found solace in Lollywood star Maya Ali‘s response to this circumstance. In a post on her Instagram story, Ali called out the nation’s prime minister for the government’s increase in the price of petrol.

Maya Ali revealed the rise in a post on her Instagram account and addressed the Prime Minister directly, adding, “Mr Shehbaz Shreek, know it at once.” She expressed her frustration with the situation, stating that it was “ridiculous” and “getting out of control.”
