PDM Karachi Jalsa: Fazlur Rehman speech

JUI-F leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman addressed the PDM Karachi rally today.

JUI-F leader paid tribute to the 18th October martyrs at the beginning of his speech and thanked the crowd for supporting the Pakistan Democratic Movement. He said,

“I pay tribute to the martyrs of October 18.”

While addressing the PDM Karachi jalsa, Fazlur Rehman told the main motive behind forming the Opposition alliance movement,

“The purpose of PDM is to restore the free democratic atmosphere. We are being forced to surrender to the government as a result of fraud.”

The JUI-F leader said that Imran Khan and his government PTI tried to scare and bribe us to withdraw the PDM movement, but we remained steadfast to our motive.

“It is not possible for us to accept this government,” said Fazl.

The Pakistan Democratic Movement PDM Karachi Jalsa is staged at Bagh-e-Jinnah in the metropolis today, to put pressure on the Imran Khan’s government.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman also raised the Kashmir issue during the PDM Karachi rally and called Imran Khan the main culprit behind the dispute.

While highlighting the Sindh issue, Maulana Fazl said that no one can do anything to Sindh, if the people will not allow anyone.

“You are taking back the powers given to the provinces.”

PDM Karachi Jalsa: Today is a historic day for Pakistan, says Bilawal Bhutto

Bilawal Bhutto addressed the PDM Karachi jalsa today.

He opened the speech by paying tribute to the martyrs of the Karsaz blast incident.

“The names of these martyrs will be written in the history of Pakistan. The sorrow of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto and the martyrs will always be with us,” said Bilawal.

The PPP chairman went on to say that the Pakistan Democratic Movement is made for the people and democracy will rule once again in the country.

“We have to fight for the rule of the people, the supremacy of the constitution, and the establishment of democracy in this country. The morning for which the democratic forces made sacrifices will come soon,” said Bilawal.

“Today, I found no difference in the roads of Lahore and Karachi. I am overwhelmed by your love.”

Maryam visited Karachi after a long time period and recalled meeting with Shaheed Benazir Bhutto.

“When I came to Karachi today, I thought of Benazir Bhutto. I met her once, for 3 hours, in Saudi Arabia. She ate with me. She spoke to me like a mother.”

PDM Karachi Jalsa: Opposition leaders, attendees ignore following SOPs

PDM Karachi Jalsa - SOPs violation

In the second Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) jalsa that is being held in Karachi today (Sunday), none of the Opposition leaders nor participants followed SOPs to avoid the spread of coronavirus.

The PDM has violated the agreement reached with the administration again in its second rally. A per the details, no social distancing is being followed at the Baagh-e-Jinnah ground. No leader was seen wearing face masks as well.

The attendees are standing and sitting right next to each other.

It should be mentioned here that The Opposition Alliance of Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) had violated the agreement reached with the administration at its first gathering in Gujranwala held on Friday (16th October).
