Schools Reopen: Shafqat Mahmood wishes good luck to students

Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood has said that the schools will be resuming from today (18th January).

Taking to the micro-blogging site Twitter, Shafqat Mahmood wished good luck to the students who will be going to their schools from tomorrow.

“Tomorrow classes 9 to 12, O and A level go back to school/ college. Wish them the very best. Their future is our main priority,” wrote Education Minister.

In his message, Federal Minister for Education Shafqat Mahmood further said that the future of students is the first priority of Pakistan.

Earlier, Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood announced that schools and colleges would reopen in Pakistan from January 18.

While addressing a press conference, Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood announced that in the first phase, classes 9 to 12 would be allowed to resume from January 18.

In the second phase, the minister said, primary to class 8 would resume on January 25.

The minister said that universities and other higher education institutions would reopen from February 1 in the third and last phase.

The minister announced that board exams have been postponed till May and June as students did not have enough time to prepare for their exams.
