Bosnian leader departs from Pakistan

Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Sefik Dzaferovic has departed from Pakistan after completing his two-day visit.

During his stay, the Bosnian leader held meetings with Prime Minister Imran Khan, Chief of Army Staff Gen. Qamar Javed Bajwa and other government officials.

The premier and Dzaferovic have agreed to expand cooperation in different fields.

PM Imran also pointed out that the trade between the two countries currently stands at four point five million Euros which is nothing.

He said both the sides have decided to hold further deliberations to improve trade and cooperation in every field.

COAS meets Bosnian leader

Chairman of Presidency of Bosnia & Herzegovina has on Thursday visited General Headquarters today to discuss Pak-Bosnia and Herzegovina relations with the Chief of Army Staff (COAS). 

During the meeting, Sefik Dzaferovic and Gen. Qamar Javed Bajwa discussed matters of mutual interest, regional security and Pak-Bosnia & Herzegovina relations.

The Army Chief said that Pakistan attaches great importance to brotherly relations with Bosnia & Herzegovina. 

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the visiting dignitary also acknowledged Pakistan’s continuous efforts for peace & stability in the region.

He also pledged to further enhance bilateral relations between both the brotherly countries.

Pakistan, however, feels proud of strong bond of love & support between people of two countries, ISPR said.

ISPR further informed that both COAS and Sefik Dzaferovic also discussed enhanced bilateral cooperation in various fields including defence, technical expertise and joint ventures.

Earlier, on arrival of Bosnian leader at GHQ, he was presented guard of honour and laid floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada to pay homage to the real heroes of Pakistan.

Pakistan, Bosnia agree to improve the volume of trade

Both Pakistan and Bosnia leaders have agreed to expand cooperation in different fields here on Wednesday (today).

The agreement came under consideration between Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Sefik Dzaferovic in Islamabad.

Later, in a joint press conference, the premier pointed out that the trade between the two countries currently stands at four point five million Euros which is nothing.

He said both the sides have decided to hold further deliberations to improve trade and cooperation in every field.

The PM also expressed his gratitude to the Bosnian President for his principled stance on Kashmir dispute.

He said India has been taken over by a fascist regime that is not only persecuting innocent people in occupied Jammu and Kashmir but also targeting its minorities especially the Muslims.
