Faisal Javed says, “PM Imran will make the country as Quaid’s real Pakistan”

Faisal Javed

Chairman Senate Standing Committee on Information and Broadcasting, Senator Faisal Javed on Friday says the government is committed to make the country as Quaid’s real Pakistan under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Addressing a ceremony in connection with Quaid’s birthday in Rawalpindi, he said we can make the country strong only through eliminating corruption and money laundering from the society.

Senator Faisal Javed said those who looted the national exchequer could not hoodwink the people now.

He said the incumbent government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, will rid the country of these political impurities.

The Chairman Senate Standing Committee said Health Cards will be issued to the artist community soon.

Earlier, Faisal Javed had announced his resignation as head of the Pak-France Parliamentary Friendship Group in protest.

He had sent his resignation to Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjarani in which he said that French President Emmanuel Macron had supported blasphemous sketches of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Javed had said that encouraging this ugly act would further fuel Islamophobia in Europe, which would divide humanity and increase extremism.

He said that Prime Minister Imran Khan had raised the issue of Islamophobia in all international forums, including the UN General Assembly, while global legislation against blasphemy is a matter of time.

“The French President Macron’s logic of playing with the feelings of millions of Muslims in the name of freedom of expression is unacceptable. I immediately resign as head of the Pakistan-France Parliamentary Friendship Group against this attitude of the French government,” he had said.
