All you need to know about Prince Philip’s upcoming special Thanksgiving service

Hundreds of people are expected to gather at Westminster Abbey on March 29 to commemorate the life of The Queen’s late husband, the Duke of Edinburgh. Prince Philip, who died on April 9 last year at the age of 99, had spent decades by Her Majesty’s side. Because of the tight limitations in place at the time, just a small number of people attended his burial last year. However, hundreds of relatives, friends, and colleagues will gather next week to commemorate the Prince’s incredible life. The ceremony will “recognize the importance of his legacy” and honor the possibilities he provided for young people as well as his support for the military. The thanksgiving celebration will also highlight his continuous commitment to the environment and conservation. Moreover, the necklace was reportedly a gift to the queen from the Japanese government and was made by Garrad. The Queen was previously seen wearing it when she visited Bangladesh in the 80s.
