Popular singing sensation Ed Sheeran’s daughter has contracted the novel Coronavirus after he confirmed he has tested positive for the virus but would still be performing for his fans.
Ed Sheeran, however, informed the two are now isolating together for ten days until the virus passes. “I’m self-isolating with my daughter. I have been alone with her, without my wife, since we are both positive. I am now going to spend 10 days alone with her,” said the singer.
“Sometimes I am away and spend just two days a week with her, so being able to be with her for 10 straight days is great. I just spoke to Cherry and told her to relax, take long baths! Our fridge is full and we are just eating all the time,” he added.
Ed and his wife Cherry Seaborn welcomed baby Lyra in September 2020.
After her arrival, the Shape of You singer had shared a picture of two tiny socks on Instagram and shared the happy news with his 31 million followers.
He wrote: “Ello! A quick message from me as I have some personal news that I wanted to share with you… Last week, with the help of an amazing delivery team, Cherry gave birth to our beautiful and healthy daughter – Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran.”
