Ed Sheeran drops new single after a long break from music

Famed American singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has surprised his fans with his new single ‘Afterglow‘ after quite a long-break from music.

Taking to Instagram, Ed Sheeran shared the song and wrote, “Hey guys. Afterglow is a song I wrote last year that I wanted to release for you.”

“It’s not the first single from the next album, it’s just a song I love, and hope you love too,” he added.

The singer further added, “”Enjoy ! Have a safe and happy festive break and New Year’s. Back to dad land for me now.”

In August last year, the musician announced he would be be stepping back from performing in order to prioritise his family life.

Earlier in September, the popular musician had welcomed his first baby girl Lyra with wife Cherry Seaborn.

He had shared a picture of two tiny socks on Instagram and shared the happy news with his 31 million followers.

The singer wrote: “Ello! A quick message from me as I have some personal news that I wanted to share with you… Last week, with the help of an amazing delivery team, Cherry gave birth to our beautiful and healthy daughter – Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran.”

“We are completely in love with her. Both mum and baby are doing amazing and we are on cloud nine over here,” he said.

Ed Sheeran buys more property; worth rose by £4.5 to £61 million

With the aim to expand the empire, famed British singer Ed Sheeran has bought more property under his name in during the lockdown period.

Ed Sheeran already had a net worth of £200 million before his recent purchases. He, reportedly, was the sole owner of 27 flats, houses and apartments.

Now, after his increased property, the singer’s worth has risen by £4.5 million to £61 million.

According to reports, Ed’s firms Maverick Properties Limited and Maverick Commercial Properties Limited’s newly additions.

The property was bought solely with cash, no mortgages involved, sources said.

Earlier, the British vocalist had made an incredible £65,000 a day in 2018, making him the highest-earning British solo artist.

According to the details, Ed Sheeran Ltd, had made a gross profit of £23,770,262, equating to £65,124 a day.

He had become the 17th richest musician in the UK and Ireland, with Adele in 22nd with £150m.

Moreover, The singer is known for his music, sure, but he’s also known for his eccentric collection of tattoos.

Popular British singer Ed Sheeran has announced the birth of his baby daughter with wife Cherry Seaborn.

Taking to Instagram, the 29-year-old songwriter confirmed that they became parents of a ‘beautiful and healthy daughter’ last week.

He shared a picture of two tiny socks on Instagram and shared the happy news with his 31 million followers.

The Shape of You singer Ed Sheeran opens up about his battle with anxiety and addiction earlier this month.

Ed Sheeran revealed, “I have a very addictive personality. Very, very addictive personality,”

He added, “I’m reading Elton John’s book at the moment and there are so many things that he did that I do.”

The singer continued saying, “He would be like, ‘I would just go on an ice cream binge and eat four f*****g desserts until I throw it up’, and I was like, ‘I’ve done that before’. Or his martini binges, where he sees how many he can drink. And I’m like, ‘I’ve done that before too’. He ends up getting really f*****g sad and depressed and all of these things can add to that.”

The singer added that he has learned to manage and cope up with his addictive personality with moderation in everything.
