The future of Pakistan is linked with the CPEC project: FM

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said the future of Pakistan is linked with China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and the region is committed to ensure all possible problems for its security.

In a statement on Saturday, FM Qureshi said China also understands the importance of this economic corridor, so a clear message has been given from Beijing regarding security of CPEC.

He further added that Islamabad will work with China to safeguard the CPEC and ensure timely completion of all its projects.

He said Pakistan will work with China to protect CPEC and complete its associated projects.

Indian nefarious designs against the project will be foiled, the foreign minister added.

“The evidence shows how India is backing terrorists and how India seeks to target CPEC projects,” he said.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi said Pakistan has presented dossier regarding Indian support to terrorist activities inside Pakistan and targeting CPEC projects.
