Archana Puran Singh recently shared a heartfelt post on Instagram, reflecting on her memorable encounters with Bollywood icon Rekha.
The veteran actress made a special appearance on the show, and Archana shared a collection of photos from the episode, capturing the duo smiling and posing together. Rekha looked elegant in a cream and red saree, while Archana wore a shimmery black top paired with a grey blazer and matching pants. The pair looked close and affectionate in the pictures, with Archana also posting a solo shot of herself.
In her Instagram caption, Archana fondly recalled their earlier interactions, writing, “When I saw Rekhaji’s Sawan Bhadon, I was just a kid from a small town with little hope of ever meeting her, let alone working with her!”

She described a memorable moment when Rekha invited her to her makeup room during the filming of Ladai (1989), offering advice on makeup, including how to apply fake eyelashes, a trend Rekha is often credited with starting in Bollywood.
Archana went on to describe a light-hearted conversation they had at Filmcity, where Rekha teased her about a mysterious “he.” “I asked Rekhaji who this ‘he’ was, and she countered with a playful, ‘You don’t know who HE is?’” Archana wrote, recalling Rekha’s irrepressible charm and warm nature.
“She is a living legend,” Archana added, expressing how special it has been to meet Rekha over the years.
