  • Rambo talked about how playing Jan Rambo influenced his career.

Afzal Khan, known to many as Jan Rambo from the show “Guest House,” first rose to fame with this memorable role. Despite his success in film and television, particularly after the industry’s revival, Khan is often associated with comedic characters and live shows.

On an episode of “Mazaq Raat,” Rambo talked about how playing Jan Rambo influenced his career. While the character earned him widespread affection and allowed him to explore diverse roles in films, it also pigeonholed him into comedy. As a result, he finds it challenging to land serious roles, which he genuinely desires.

Rambo also shared a light-hearted anecdote from his past involving Sardar Kamal. He recounted a humorous moment when, dressed as a groom, he was taken to Sahiba’s house in an attempt to win her over. This was before his marriage to Sahiba, and Nisho Jee, who was not in favor of the union, playfully mocked him during this episode.
