Newlyweds Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani talked candidly about their union in a recent interview. After their 2021 movie Shershaah, Sidharth claimed that fans had shown him and his “wife,” Kiara, such adoration that it seemed like their union was “meant to be.” It “felt like the real Vikram and Dimple, in some parallel dimension, came together,” he said of their wedding.
Shershaah, a movie produced by Karan Johar, is based on the life of Param Vir Chakra recipient Vikram Batra and also depicts his romance with Dimple Cheema. Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra played the key roles. Even though Dimple and Vikram only had brief interactions, the movie received accolades for their love tale. Recently, Sidharth discussed their movie in an interview.

“It felt like the real Vikram and Dimple, in some other dimension, came together,” Sidharth told.  What more do you need from a movie when Shershaah has given me so much love—and my wife, too? I believe it was meant to be (laughs). Vishal Batra, Vikram Batra’s brother, attended our wedding and was, like us, very pleased and emotional. The (post-wedding) glow is real, Kiara stated in the same interview. This brand-new existence is fantastic. I’m overjoyed.

Photos from Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani’s wedding have being circulated online. They exchanged vows on February 7 at the Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer, and their Bollywood friends were invited to receptions they hosted in Delhi and Mumbai. The pair has been posting pictures from the wedding and the events leading up to the wedding. Kiara Advani chose a heavy ivory and pink lehenga for the wedding, in contrast to Sidharth, who wore a sherwani with gold embroidery.

Prominent Bollywood stars including Karan Johar, Shahid Kapoor, Mira Rajput, Juhi Chawla, and others were invited to Kiara and Sidharth’s wedding. Isha Ambani, a childhood friend of Kiara’s and the daughter of businessman Mukesh Ambani, was also sighted at a pre-wedding event. Anand Piramal, her husband, joined her.

On February 12, Kiara and Sidharth hosted a lavish Bollywood celebration in Mumbai, which was attended by many famous people including Akash Ambani, Shloka Mehta, Alia Bhatt, and Kareena Kapoor. The celebration was attended by a number of famous people, including Kajol, Ajay Devgn, Karan Johar, Ranveer Singh, Gauri Khan, Maheep Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Vidya Balan, Vicky Kaushal, Mira Rajput, Shilpa Shetty, Varun Dhawan, Natasha Dalal, Kriti Sanon, Disha Patani, and Neha Dhup
