Adam Levine has spoken out about singer Blake Shelton’s departure from the NBC reality show ‘The Voice.’

Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine is speaking out about singer Blake Shelton’s departure from the reality competition television series ‘The Voice’.

According to the sources, the musicians were part of the original coaching panel for the NBC reality singing competition, alongside Christina Aguilera and CeeLo Green, until Levine’s departure after season 16.

Following Adam Levine’s departure from the show in 2019, various celebrities, including Miley Cyrus, Shakira, Usher, Nick Jonas, and others, have appeared as coaches, leaving Shelton, 46, as the only original star on the panel.

According to sources, after Blake Shelton announced his departure from the show in October, making this season his final, Levine, 43, spoke out for the first time since the announcement outside of the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, telling Entertainment Tonight, “It’s about time!”

Shelton has appeared on the show for 23 consecutive seasons and has won nine times since its inception in 2011. His time on the hit NBC show was something he mentioned in a lengthy Instagram post announcing his departure.

“I’ve been wrestling with this for a while and I’ve decided that it’s time for me to step away from The Voice after season 23,” penned Shelton in a statement shared in October, quoted by ‘People’. “This show has changed my life in every way for the better and it will always feel like home to me.”

He continued, “It’s been a hell of a ride over these 12 years of chair turns and I want to thank everyone at The Voice from NBC, every producer, the writers, musicians, crew and catering people, you are the best. It takes a lot of work, passion, and adult beverages (Ha!) to pull off a live show twice a week.”

“I’ve made lifelong bonds with Carson (Daly) and every single one of my fellow coaches over the years, including my wife, Gwen Stefani! – I have to give a huge shout out to the singers – the ‘Voices’ who come on this stage season after season and amaze us with their talent and a special thanks to those who chose me to be their coacha, he added.

“Lastly, it’s about y’all, the fans, who watch and support these artists, us coaches and everyone at ‘The Voice’ chasing their dreams. It wouldn’t happen without you”, he concluded.

According to a Page Six report, the Victoria’s Secret model was spotted backstage during the singer’s performance in Las Vegas, which was his first outing since the incident.

At the Shaquille O’Neal Foundation’s annual charity dinner, The Event, Levin’s gave a performance at the MGM Grand Hotel.

For the uninitiated, model Sumner Stroh came forward with the claim that the singer had an affair with her “for about a year,” leading to accusations that the Maroon 5 frontman had cheated on his expectant wife.

The Girls Like You hitmaker said that he “stepped the line during a regretful era of my life,” but he denied cheating on Prinsloo.

Following Levine’s admission, a number of other women, including Instagram model Alyson Rose and his former yoga teacher, asserted that the musician had sent them improper messages while he was still married.

Emily Ratajkowski seemingly addressed the infidelity scandal surrounding the Maroon 5 singer after her estranged husband, Sebastian Bear-McClard, allegedly cheated on her, too. In a TikTok video, the model said, “I don’t understand why we continue to blame women for men’s mistakes, especially when you’re talking about 20-something-year-old women dealing with men in positions of power who are twice their age.” Emily further suggested relating to Levine’s statement about the scandal added, “If you’re the one in a relationship, you are the one who’s obligated to be loyal.”

Not only Ratajkowski but also Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause seemingly called out the singer for his recent statement as she wrote on Twitter, “Don’t speak for her. You’ve done enough.”

Following model Sumner Stroh’s accusations against Levine, two other models have also come forward claiming that the singer sent flirty messages to them and have shared details of their alleged conversations with the Maroon 5 frontman on TikTok. In the meantime, Levine who is expecting his third baby with his wife in his statement wrote, “My wife and my family is all I care about in this world. To be this naive and stupid enough to risk the only thing that truly matters to me was the greatest mistake I could ever make. I will never make it again.”

Adam Levine has made news after model Sumner Stroh accused him of cheating on his wife Behati Prinsloo and shared their private DMs. Following the virality of Stroh’s TikTok video regarding Levine, the singer issued a statement on his Instagram account in which he denied cheating on his wife but admitted that he “broke a boundary.”

While Stroh did not explicitly respond to Levine’s statement, she did publish a cryptic Instagram post that simply stated, “Someone get this man a dictionary.” The post appeared to be a dig at the Maroon 5 frontman, whose statement was also blasted on Twitter by Selling Sunset’s Chrishell Stause. Levine acknowledged in his statement that he exercised “poor judgement” in flirtatious conversations with anyone other than his wife, but that he did not conduct an affair.

Stroh, whose video about Levine went viral, apologised to Behati in a second TikTok post and claimed, “I’m not the one who’s getting hurt. It’s Behati and her kids. And I sincerely apologise.” Adam and Behati married in 2014, and they have two daughters, Dusty and Gio. The couple is expecting their third child together.

Sumner Stroh, who boasted over 350,000 followers on Instagram accused the Girls Like You singer on Tiktok to have an affair with her for nearly a year.

“I was having an affair with a man who’s married to a Victoria’s Secret model. At the time, I was young, I was naive, and, I mean, quite frankly, I feel exploited,” Stroh said in the video.

The 43-year-old singer has been married to the model for 8 years. The couple is expecting their third kid. They have two daughters, who are 4 and 5.

In her TikTok video, the influencer posted a screenshot of an Instagram DM that Levine had allegedly sent her “after I stopped talking to him over a period of months.” It reads: “Ok serious question. I’m having another baby and if it’s [a] boy I really wanna name it Sumner. You ok with that? DEAD serious.”

The 23-year-old influencer video was viewed almost 7.5 million times. Responding to criticism, she posted a second video saying that she wasn’t trying to play the victim.

“In no way was I trying to gain sympathy,” she said. “And I fully realize I’m not the victim of this. I’m not the one who’s really getting hurt here. It’s Behati and her children, and for that, I’m so so sorry.”
