Prince William and wife Kate Middleton are ‘overwhelmed with regret’ after their recent royal Caribbean visit was interrupted by many demonstrations.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited Belize, Jamaica, and the Bahamas as part of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee festivities, although they encountered strong republican feeling in some areas, with many seeking apologies and compensation for slavery.

According to a source close to William and Kate, while the royal couple was ‘looking forward’ to the trip, the reception they saw proved’more tough than anticipated.’

The insider went on to say that since arriving home over the weekend, both William and Kate have been “overwhelmed by remorse.”

The source was quoted: “It was certainly more challenging than expected given the protests. They obviously know the history, but being there during the protests was a real eye-opener.”

After villagers refused to let them land on their land, William and Kate were forced to cancel the tour’s first engagement at Indian Creek in Belize.

The Daily Mail quoted Indian Creek chairman Sebastian Shol as saying: “We don’t want them to land on our land, that’s the message that we want to send.”

Kate Middleton was allegedly on serious mom duty at Prince Philip’s memorial, which she attended with her children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

Many watchers remarked that as Kate came into the ceremony with husband Prince William and children George and Charlotte, the children may have been overwhelmed by the wedding, which was attended by various European politicians as well as senior royal family members.

Charlotte, in particular, appeared more anxious as she stepped in, but her mother Kate was there to support her. She was spotted reaching down and whispering to her daughter, “You can smile.”

Lip reading expert Jacqui Press verified this statement, telling Mail Online that both Kate and Prince William were vigilant and kept an eye out for their two children.

According to Press, William also soothed Prince George before heading into the Abbey, saying, “Let’s go in.” He then introduced his son to all of the significant persons in attendance at the service.

Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle’s decision to remain silent at his grandfather Prince Philip’s burial ceremony on Tuesday, March 29, was a “quite prudent move,” according to the royal expert.

Despite the fact that all other senior relatives were present, Harry and Meghan elected not to travel to the UK to attend the Duke of Edinburgh’s memorial at Westminster Abbey. They also failed to publish a comment about the event.

While many criticised the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for remaining mute, royal expert Neil Sean remarked in a YouTube video that their decision to remain silent was “quite smart.”

“Whatever people are saying, ‘oh they didn’t do this, they didn’t acknowledge him’, you couldn’t win either way,” Sean said.

He added, “If they’d have put something out on their website then they’re pulling focus. If they don’t mention them, then of course it’s negative. So, by remaining silent, I think that was the very best thing for Her Majesty the Queen, and of course senior members of the British monarchy.”

Sean also stated that, despite their quiet, Harry and Meghan could be in contact with the Queen herself.

During a recent interview with GB News, royal biographer Angela Levin made this charge.

There she went as far as to allege, “He only had to come from the airport and to go to where his grandmother was and be taken there. It’s a disgrace actually.”

During her interview, Ms Levin also discussed the likely reasons Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made this decision, and she added,  “You saw royals from Europe and beyond, and yet he felt he wouldn’t be safe. It’s absolute nonsense.”

Prince Harry has been chastised for allegedly doing nothing but tending to his family’s chicken coop at his California property.

Arthur Edwards, a royal photographer, spoke on Sky News to criticise the Duke of Sussex for neglecting to go to the UK for his grandpa Prince Philip’s memory service, calling his absence ‘shameful.’

Edwards said, “Prince Harry does nothing but sit there feeding his chickens in California.”

He went on to say that Prince Harry should have hopped on an aircraft and “paid his respects to his grandfather, whether he brings his bride or not.” He’s supposed to be here.”

Edwards also expressed his thoughts on how Prince Philip might have felt about Harry’s absence, saying: “Well, I think he’d be disappointed. I mean because he was Harry’s mentor… He should be walking in there. He should be sitting next to his father and the Queen and celebrate the life of this great man.”

Piers Morgan mirrored Edwards’ sentiments, saying, “Imagine missing your mentor grandfather’s memorial service because you’re such a spoiled brat you’d rather sulk in your Californian mansion than be there to support your grandmother?”
