Kate Middleton says royal tours are very ‘difficult’ for her

Kate Middleton

During royal engagements, royal specialists rip the veil off Kate Middleton’s major hitches.’

Katie Nicholl, a royal biographer and pundit, recently made this assertion.

She remarked about the ‘wrench’ in Prince William’s Jamaica trip in an interview with Closer magazine, adding, “I remember being with her when we were on a tour together in Bhutan and we had a moment to talk about how difficult it was to leave little children behind.”

“Despite being the Duchess of Cambridge and being able to afford around-the-clock nannies and so on, she had her mum looking after Prince George and Princess Charlotte, which struck me as just really normal.”

Before concluding she added, “I could see how much comfort and confidence that gave her in getting on with her job, which she does brilliantly, but I think it is always such a wrench for her to leave her children behind.”

Kate Middleton will be given solo abroad flights after Caribbean tour

Kate Middleton will be given solo abroad flights after Caribbean tour

Williams’ upcoming role as Prince of Wales has been thrown into the forefront by two recent events. For starters, the Queen’s health has been a source of concern since her Covid diagnosis and consequent reduction in public appearances. Second, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s divisive Caribbean vacation sparked outrage on social media.

As Prince William prepares for his new job, whatever that may be, his counsellors are said to be working on instilling “The Cambridge Way” in him as a strategy for assuming the title of Prince of Wales.

As the popular Royal’s confidence increases, part of this includes sending Kate Middleton on more solo excursions abroad.

Body language expert Darren Stanton recently told Express that the Duchess of Cambridge was “super confident” on the couple’s recent trip to Jamaica.

“When she speaks to people she nails down at their eye level to build rapport and has no problems getting close hugging people.

“Her enjoyment and happiness are all genuine signs and emotion so it’s clear the couple have been having lots of fun going out interacting with members of the public and other civil dignitaries.”

During the trip, William, on the other hand, displayed signs of “worry” and “not feeling very confident,” according to him.

The Caribbean trip was met with criticism since it unwittingly highlighted the British Empire’s colonialist heritage.

Anti-colonialist protests greeted the Royals, as were appeals for the monarchy to make restitution for slavery, as well as emotional reminders of the damage inflicted by the Windrush scandal.

Prince Harry calls out selfish for moving away from royal service

Prince Harry

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and have been chastised for their “selfish antics” against royals, claiming that “Diana would never do that.”

Darren McGrady, Princess Diana’s former chef, has made this assertion.

He was reported in an interview with Coffee Friend as saying, “I think the whole world was surprised, not just me.”

“It was definitely a shock. It was sad for me being a royalist, having worked for the family for 15 years, having seen the boys play together and how close they were. Princess Diana would have been sad that their boys don’t have the same relationship now.”

McGrady also admitted, “Would she have been thrilled that Harry was moving away from royal service? She understood that the Queen came first, I don’t believe she ever did anything to really offend the Queen.”

“She would have never had moved away, that is purely because of her boys. She would never have moved to another country and left her young boys in the U.K.”

“She’d grown up with her parents separated. There’s no way she would have abandoned her children,” McGrady added before concluding. “Would she have had a place in Malibu? I think so, she’d have had a beach house. Yeah absolutely.”

Katherine Ryan lauded Meghan Markle for defying royal ‘rules’

Katherine Ryan lauded Meghan Markle for defying royal 'rules'

Meghan Markle, 40, has been commended by Canadian comedian Katherine Ryan, 38, for her “assurance” and fortitude in defying what is “expected” of a member of the Royal Family.

Since marrying Prince Harry in 2018, Meghan has divided views, with the majority of the criticism increasing when the couple stood down as senior members in 2020.

Katherine had previously commended the Duchess of Sussex for being so forthright about her miscarriage during her Oprah Winfrey interview, after having experienced one herself the year before.

When Express asked Katherine what her opinion was on the controversial royal she said,  “I think when you join such an infamous family, then you’re under the microscope.”

“I think that anyone, certainly any woman, who deviates from what is expected of them is going to face criticism.

“So, I certainly think that I love Meghan Markle’s voice and her confidence to challenge the norm and what’s expected of her in that role.

“But equally, anytime that you challenge an idea, people are going to come after you.”

Katherine then discussed why Meghan is “such a target” for many people, and whether Meghan’s “confidence” is to fault.

She continued: “So, I mean, I’m not exactly sure what makes her such a target, but I think it’s her confidence in challenging the shape of what a woman in that role should like, which is someone who wears stockings.

“Someone who covers their shoulders, someone who follows the rules.

“I feel like I would find it very challenging being real, because many of us couldn’t fit into those constraints very easily.

“It would feel like a real infringement on your sense of personal freedom.”

Beckhams gives Prince William and Kate advice on how to use social media in a ‘Hollywood’ style

Prince William

In the coming years, Prince William and Kate Middleton may need to take advice from their famous counterparts on how to communicate with the public.

Nick Ede, a pop culture expert, points out that’reliability’ is critical for the Cambridges to be liked and respected. He believes that portraying Wills and Kate in a more approachable light would be beneficial to the monarchy.

Speaking to Express.co.uk, Mr Ede said: “I think they will be more likely to be doing Hollywood-esque films, which are being really well edited, made by great editors.

“But I think also they could do something like David Beckham did when he lent his Instagram to somebody in Ukraine to talk about their plight, which I think is really strong.

“And that is something they may do, to allow others who haven’t got a voice to use their platform.”

He added: “They have to be much more impartial than an influencer, but I think they can tell stories in a really nice strategic way and really educate us.”

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge drew attention to their Instagram account with their lighthearted and easygoing images from their Caribbean holiday.

He said: “Strategically moving forward social media is their best form of actually becoming an appealing couple who people can relate to.

“That’s the most important thing – rather than just still images and reportage.

“It’s really important for them moving forward, and for the role of the monarchy in the UK and beyond.

“That to me is really their way forward.

“If you think of a royalist, they are usually a little bit older, and when the Queen passes away we’ve got to look at what the role of the Royal Family is and how they can become relatable but also can still encourage tourism and all those amazing things they do.

“And I think it’s going to become increasingly important for Kate and William to be visible.

“A bit like Diana – to become the peoples’ King and Queen, rather than the Queen who is always seen as this amazing head of state, but also quite hard to get to.

“We’re all about relatability now, but I think they are doing that.”

Kate Middleton feels ‘debilitating’ condition in pregnancy

Kate Middleton

Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, “suffered” a “debilitating” ailment during her pregnancy, a royal specialist claimed that  in a flashback documentary.

Kate and Prince William visited Prince Philip’s tomb with their two eldest children this week. Prince George, eight, and Princess Charlotte, six, attended the memorial service for the Duke of Edinburgh, who died last year at the age of 99.

The presence of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge at the celebration honouring the Queen’s husband had previously been confirmed.

However, it was not known in advance that they would be bringing their children to the solemn event. Prince Louis, the children’s three-year-old brother, did not attend the service at Westminster Abbey.

Kate has already spoken openly about her young family and what it’s like to raise children.

Kate has also spoken up about having hyperemesis gravidarum during her pregnancies, which can result in vomiting.

During the 2018 Netflix documentary ‘The Royal Wives of Windsor,’ royal biographer Penny Junor described the disease as “debilitating” while discussing Kate’s pregnancies.

She said: “Kate has suffered very severely from morning sickness that is totally debilitating.”

Here is why Queen Elizabeth wore green at Prince Philip's funeral!

The Service of Thanksgiving for the Duke of Edinburgh, who died in April at the age of 99, featured various touching tributes to the late monarch, including musical selections picked by the prince himself and flower arrangements inspired by Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip’s wedding day.

The monarch, 95, also paid tribute to her 73-year-old husband through her fashion choices. The Queen donned a specific shade of green as a modest reference to Philip — and she wasn’t alone. Several attendees donned the colour, including Princess Anne and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.

The dark green colour is the official livery of Prince Philip. It has been utilised for staff uniforms and private cars and is known as “Edinburgh Green.” Last April, a green Land Rover was also used to transport Prince Philip’s coffin to his funeral.

Queen Elizabeth also wore a brooch, which is thought to have been a gift from Prince Philip.

Several members of the royal family attended the event, including Prince William and Kate Middleton, who brought their oldest children, Prince George, 8, and Princess Charlotte, 6, to honour their great-grandfather.

Commonwealth countries are ‘waiting for the Queen to die’

Queen

Commonwealth countries are ‘waiting for the Queen to die’ before deposing royals, according to a poll.

In a survey of 1,602 respondents, 62% thought countries were waiting for the Queen to die before quitting the Commonwealth.

30%, on the other side, provided an opposing response. Among the responses were the following: “I don’t believe countries are waiting…but certainly there will be changes [once the Queen dies].”

Others added: “Why wait? Do it already!”

One user said: “Why would they wait till the Queen dies? The Queen is merely a ceremonial head.

“The Commonwealth members are independent and could have and can make that decision any time.

“It will make no difference although it may hurt the Queen a little as she holds the Commonwealth close to her heart.”

“As a member of the Commonwealth, I look forward to the continued reign of Queen Elizabeth and her successive heirs for generations to come.”

This poll comes after Prince William and Kate Middleton’s Caribbean excursion was met with a chilly shoulder.

Jamaica’s Prime Minister, Andrew Holness, informed the Duke of Cambridge that his country wanted to opt out of the Commonwealth in order to become a republic.

“There are issues here, which as you know, are unresolved, but your presence gives us an opportunity for those issues to be placed in context, to be out front and center and to be addressed as best we can,” he told William and Kate during their meeting. “But Jamaica is, as you would see, is a country that is proud of its history and very proud of what we have achieved. And we’re moving on and we intend to… fulfill our true ambitions and destiny to become an independent, developed and prosperous country.”

Queen Elizabeth is putting aside her frailty in order to pay honour to her husband, Prince Philip.

The 95-year-old monarch made her first public appearance since testing positive for COVID-19, driving to Westminster Abbey with son Prince Andrew.

“She joined the rest of the congregation by standing to sing one of the hymns, despite prior reports she may not do so. At the end of the service, members of the Royal Family and all other attendees sang the national anthem together,” reports.

It was previously rumoured that the monarch would arrive at Westminster Abbey on a private jet.

Source told to media, “Everything is being looked at to make sure the Queen makes it to Philip’s service. But the most important thing is to make sure she is comfortable.”

“She must be there, and the best and most capable minds are hard at work doing their very best to make it work.”

“The Queen couldn’t go to the Commonwealth ceremony because they couldn’t take her all that distance as it’s very uncomfortable in all that traffic.”

“The best way is to fly by helicopter from Windsor to Buckingham Palace, then she only has a short drive to endure,” the source added.

Prince William advised going ‘further’ with the slavery apology

Prince William

During their Jamaica vacation, Prince William and Kate Middleton are being scrutinised.

Sir Kier Stammer tells LBC that he believes the Duke of Cambridge did not fully apologise for’slavery’ during his speech in Jamaica.

Sir Keir told LBC: “He could have gone further, but again it’s a difficult one. And I think he may go further in the future.”

Sir Keir noted that modernization will be “bumpy,” but that it was a necessary evil. Kier admitted that their Land Rover journey in Jamaica was “a little weird” and “harkened back to the past.”

“I didn’t quite see how that actually fit that well with the aim of their trip,” he said.

“I think the tour has been a fantastic outreach for the Prince and his wife.

However, Education Secretary Nadhim Zahawi disagreed: “They’ve done a tremendous job.”

Prince William addressed deep-rooted slavery practices in the history of Britain as Jamaica decides to opt out of Commonwealth.

During his speech at the official luncheon at King’s House, the residence of Jamaica’s Governor-General, Sir Patrick Allen, William apologised to the country for disappointing them.

“I want to express my profound sorrow. Slavery was abhorrent. And it should never have happened,” he said.

“While the pain runs deep, Jamaica continues to forge its future with determination, courage and fortitude,” he continued. “The strength and shared sense of purpose of the Jamaican people, represented in your flag and motto, celebrate an invincible spirit.”

Prince Harry disappoints with ‘no statement’ on Prince Philip’s memorial

Prince Harry

At the Prince Philip Memorial service, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle disappointed royal lovers with no statement.

Former royal photographer Arthur Edwards told Sky News that the security inside Westminster Abbey is amazing, and he chastised the Duke of Sussex for creating an excuse for it.

Harry “should be here. Whether he brings his wife [Meghan] or not, it doesn’t matter”.

“The security here is incredible, I can’t tell you. He should be here,” he added.

“He is on the list,” the photographer said of disgraced son Prince Andrew.

Buckingham Palace revealed information about next week’s memorial service for Prince Philip, who died last year, on Thursday.

The memorial event will honour his life of service, his contributions to over 700 charity organisations, and his most enduring legacy, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.

A royal expert, citing sources, stated that Queen Elizabeth “hopes to attend.”

Members of the royal family, including Prince Charles and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, the Cambridges, Wessexes, and Prince Andrew, were there.

The message made no mention of Prince Harry, who had declined to attend the ceremony earlier this month.

Commenting on the topic of discussion among the 1,800 guests, Griffin said, “Certainly around where I was, they thought he (Harry) should have been here.”

He added: “All this nonsense about he couldn’t get protection, as far as I’m concerned that was a pathetic excuse, he should have been here to honour his grandfather. At the end of the day, if he was that worried about security he could have stuck with his brother and father who have got wonderful security. He would have been more than safe.”

Prince Philip’s private funeral request revealed!

Prince Philip's private funeral request revealed!

According to recently found recollections of the late Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip reportedly desired a ‘small-scale’ and ‘no-fuss’ funeral.

Prince Philip, who died last year at the age of 99 during the height of a COVID lockdown in the UK, was given a quiet burial attended by about 30 people, which was precisely what he wanted.

According to Palace authorities, Philip was reported in a 2013 Daily Mail storey as stating, “I don’t want the fuss of a full state funeral.”

Even after his death, the Duke of Edinburgh refused to lie in state, a practise that requires a dead official’s body to be put in a state building.

According to a royal aide: “Prince Philip doesn’t see himself as important enough for that.”

At Philip’s death, this plan was carried out, and his body was laid to rest in a private chapel at Windsor Castle.

Philip was likewise not granted a state funeral, but rather a royal ceremonial funeral.

Mike Tindall, Philip’s granddaughter Zara Tindall’s husband, also revealed on his podcast: “I look back on the day I think is eerie as it was with no crowds and the social distancing. I think it was the perfect day for how he would have liked it, if that makes any sense whatsoever.”

Meghan Markle accused of a ‘disturbing act’ at a major royal gathering

Meghan Markle

Despite missing Prince Philip’s funeral last year, Meghan Markle was accused of organising a ‘very problematic’ charade.

Meghan, who was pregnant at the time of the Duke of Edinburgh’s burial in April, was represented at the service by her husband, Prince Harry, who left a colourful wreath on the couple’s behalf.

According to royal expert Daniela Elser, Meghan intended to grab headlines by releasing information of the wreath laid by Prince Harry while other royal wreaths remained private.

In a new article, Elser wrote: “What is baffling here is why and how, on a day that should have been resolutely, solely focused on celebrating the duke, that something Sussex-related succeeded to be found in the titles.”

Read more: Meghan Markle’s friend criticizes the palace’s ‘diversity.’

While all other information of Philip’s burial arrangements were made public, ‘no specifics about the other eight crowns that were put in the chapel have been disclosed,’ according to Elser.

She then added: “The appearance here is that even in this time of mourning, someone next to Sussex saw Meghan’s crown and note as an opportunity to do some good PR, barely uplifting stuff.”

She further questioned: “But why did anyone feel the need to share this information with the world? The inevitable conclusion here is that the details of the salvation created by Crossley are known today and making headlines, because someone wanted them there.”
