Fans of the Royal Family are swooning over Prince Harry and Prince Phillip’s likeness as images illustrate how similar they are.
Both royal family members have served their nation, and royalist Facebook communities can’t get enough of how similar they appear in their military uniforms.
Fans were awestruck by the two, who posted photo after picture with the phrase “Like grandfather, like grandson.” It appeared like history was repeating itself.
Prince Philip, the British monarch’s longest-serving consort, began his naval career in May 1939 before joining the battleship HMS Ramillies in 1940, when he was just 19 years old, and spending six months in the Indian Ocean.

In July 1951, the Duke of Edinburgh retired from active naval service and was named Admiral of the Sea Cadet Corps, Colonel-in-Chief of the Army Cadet Force, and Air Commodore-in-Chief of the Air Training Corps the following year.
Years later, his grandson Prince Harry followed in his footsteps, enrolling in the Royal Military Academy at the age of 21 in 2005.
In February 2008, the Ministry of Defence stated that the Duke of Sussex had spent nearly two months with the British Army in Helmand, Afghanistan.
Prince Harry spent twelve years in the army, rising through the ranks to Captain and doing two deployments in Afghanistan.
