Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt, who began dating in 1998 and married in July 2000, were one of Hollywood’s most popular couples.

During her appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show last week, Aniston set tongues churning by recalling the circumstances of her separation with the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star.

While discussing the aftermath of the Friends finale with Ellen, the Horrible Bosses actor, 53, cracked a joke about her divorce from Pitt.

The show’s host inquired about her reaction to the conclusion of the long-running comedy, which aired from September 1994 to May 2004.

“I had a divorce and went to counselling,” the Morning Show star joked. “And then I made a movie called The Break-Up,” she said. “I simply leaned in to the finish.”

Her remark to Ellen triggered social media comments, as some believe she still has feelings for her first love and ex-husband Brad Pitt, who was rumoured to be having an affair with Angelina Jolie and went public with the Maleficent actress following his separation with Aniston.

Pitt and Aniston announced their divorce after four years of marriage less than a year after the Friends series finale.

While still married to Aniston, the Oscar winner first met Jolie on the set of “Mr. and Mrs. Smith.” After nine years together, the couple married in 2014 but divorced after two years.

During her appearance on Ellen, Aniston joked about the drama. “I just said to them, ‘You know what, guys? “Let’s start a new chapter,” the Friends With Money actress said to the comedian, 64. “Let’s end everything and then begin over.” It worked perfectly!”

The Oscar winner first met Jolie on the set of “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” while still married to Aniston. The pair married in 2014 after nine years together, but split two years later.

Aniston laughed about the incident during her appearance on Ellen. “”You know what, guys? “Let’s start a new chapter,” the Friends With Money actress told the comedian, 64. “Let’s stop everything and start again.” It worked great!”

In September 2020, the couple appeared in a virtual live table read of Fast Times at Ridgemont High, with Aniston playing Pitt’s character’s infatuation.

Previously, it was stated that Brad and Jen are not romantically involved. The exes truly believe it’s hilarious that fans are so fascinated with them reuniting.

Jennifer Aniston allegedly dated Vince Vaughn and John Mayer following her divorce from Brad Pitt before beginning her relationship with Justin Theroux in 2011. The couple, who married in August 2015, divorced in February 2018.
