After several years in the works, Brahmastra Part One-Shiva, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, was finally released in theatres on September 9. In the opening scenes of the movie, Shah Rukh Khan appears onscreen alongside Mouni Roy, who plays the villainous Junoon. The diva wove six yards of elegance in a classic black-and-gold saree from designer Masaba Gupta’s racks for her most recent outing. Mouni chose a beautiful black saree for the Brahmastra promotional events in Hyderabad. The pallu and pleats of the crepe dress were embroidered with golden foil. With a sleeveless blouse, Mouni gave the dress some extra flair thanks to the lovely embroidery.

Mouni chose a gorgeous pair of gold jhumkas and a regal gold cuff with matching beading as her accessories. She used big, dark smokey eyes, a lot of blush, and red lipstick for her cosmetics. She finished the look by bunning her hair neatly.

Ranbir Kapoor spoke about their film Tamasha and, in particular, the famous scene from the song “Agar Tum Sath Ho,” which was championed by Deepika Padukone’s performance. “I think the way Deepika performed it, what Deepika brought to the table, she made it come alive because she really, you really felt pain and because of that it was such a reactive scene. What I was doing she was reacting and what she was doing I was reacting. And I have always had such a good time working with Deepika because we started off together. She’s grown so much as an actor, we did our second film together called Bachna Ae Haseeno. When I worked with her again in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, I don’t think I have ever been so surprised by an actor’s growth. And because I know Deepika so closely I was so impressed. And by the time we reached tamasha she was a veteran and she was surprising me with each shot and everything she was doing,” stated the actor.

Ranbir Kapoor stars in Shamshera and Brahmastra. Shamshera stars Ranbir, Vaani Kapoor, and Sanjay Dutt. Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna co-star in Brahmastra.
