Reema Kagti Confirms Priyanka Chopra’s Appearance In ‘Jee Le Zaraa’

Reema Kagti, co-founder of Tiger Baby Films, has confirmed that the highly anticipated movie “Jee Le Zaraa,” co-directed by Zoya Akhtar, will indeed feature Priyanka Chopra, alongside Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt in lead roles. Kagti stated in an interview, “Jee Le Zaraa will go on floors with the same cast.” The film will be directed by Farhan Akhtar, who somewhat fueled the speculations about the film’s delay by announcing “Don 3” earlier this week, a project in which Ranveer Singh replaces Shah Rukh Khan.

Rumours had circulated suggesting that Priyanka Chopra might have left “Jee Le Zaraa” due to the film’s delay. According to a source cited by Hindustan Times, Chopra’s unavailability to shoot in 2023 due to her Hollywood commitments led her to ask if filming could be postponed to the following year. However, scheduling conflicts emerged as Alia Bhatt was already committed to other projects in 2024. Despite Priyanka Chopra’s departure, the source emphasized there was no animosity between her and the team.

Regarding Priyanka’s replacement, the source indicated that no decision had been made yet and that the makers would start exploring options.

In a recent interview with India Today, Zoya Akhtar affirmed that the film was not cancelled, stating, “We’re just waiting for the dates.” Earlier in March, Farhan Akhtar had also affirmed his preparations for the film, sharing a picture on Instagram of him walking in a desert landscape, captioned, “Searching for gold #locationscout #jeelezaraa #rajasthan.”

Taking to Instagram,posted a video in which the duo walked towards the terminal building after getting out of their car.

On Wednesday, the couple of actors Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif were spotted at the Mumbai airport as they were flying to an undisclosed location. A video of the couple leaving their car and walking toward the terminal building was uploaded to Instagram by a paparazzi account.

They were repeatedly asked to take pictures by the venue’s photographers. Vicky Kaushal nodded as he presented the official with his travel documents while Katrina stood next to him. “Subah 4 baje se ruke hai” was uttered by a waiter: “We have been waiting since 4 am.”

Katrina turned around, showed four fingers, explained why they were so early at the airport, and pointed to her watch at this. Also, Vicky grinned at the photographers. Before entering the terminal building, the pair waved to the photographers and posed for them.

Raveena Tandon teamed up with Norwegian hip-hop group Quick Style for a recreation of her iconic song Tip Tip Barsa Paani.

In order to recreate her well-known song Tip Tip Barsa Paani, Raveena Tandon collaborated with the Norwegian hip-hop duo Quick Style. The dancing ensemble Quick Style is presently touring India, visiting several towns and meeting celebrities like cricketer Virat Kohli and actor Suniel Shetty.

Since then, the dancing video has received a lot of feedback from fans and has been shared widely on social media. One person said, “”OG” is bringing it back! 2023 style.” Giving the Gen Z heroines a run for their money, according to another. One user joked, “OMG watching it on loop,” while another remarked, “The one and only person who will be linked with this song.”

When asked about the well-known song in a previous interview with Asian Age, Raveena stated, “I was never comfortable doing aggressive songs. The song Tip Tip Barsa Paani was featured in the Akshay Kumar-led movie Mohra from 1994. Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik sang the song. The song is also used in the 2021 movie Sooryavanshi, starring Akshay and Katrina Kaif. The remix’s choreographer, Farah Khan, revealed that Raveena had called to ask her not to mess it up. Farah claimed that Raveena was the first person to phone her after the Tip Tip Barsa Pani remix dropped, telling her, “Faru, you have done a wonderful job and Katrina is looking superb.”
