The fascination with the FIFA World Cup was real, and when Messi-led Argentina defeated France to win and claim the trophy, fans couldn’t control their excitement. A few fans went so far as to tattoo or carve the form of Messi’s face on their arms or hair to show how much they adore him.

Mike Jambs posted a video of himself getting inked on Instagram. On his forehead, he has a tattoo of Messi’s name. Jambs, however, received a lot of criticism for the artwork because social media users were not really taken with it. “I’m not harming anyone, I’m not doing anything illegal,” he said in his defence.

Sadly though! Mike seems to have changed his mind and decided he didn’t like the tattoo after all. According to Sports Bible, in a subsequent video, Mike expressed regret about getting the tattoo since it brought more harm than good to him personally and to his family.
“I didn’t think I’d be saying this so soon and I felt very proud of what I’d done in the first few days, but I now wish I hadn’t done it,” he added.
