Alec Baldwin has put himself in jeopardy because of the gunshot incident that occurred on the Rust set. He may be charged criminally.

The incident that occurred on the set of Rust the year before, which resulted in the death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injured director Joel Souza, has prompted Mary Carmack-Altwies, the new district attorney of New Mexico, to seek criminal charges against up to four people, including the Mission Impossible actor.

The district attorney’s office is also considering framing charges for homicide and firearms offenses.

“One of the possible defendants is well-known movie actor Alec Baldwin,” the district attorney wrote in a letter dated Aug. 30 and viewed by The Times.

The emergency request for funding could not wait until the next legislative session because “the evidence has just been returned, the state is ready to make charging decisions in the ‘Rust’ case,” she wrote.

Alec Baldwin constantly denied culpability in the shooting.

In an Instagram Story posted on Monday, the fitness fanatic discussed the difficulties she faces juggling motherhood with her seven kids.

Baldwin, 38, shared that this has been a “process” for her family. “Am I getting it right?” she captioned a mirror selfie, adding, “Def not all the time.”

The former yoga instructor penned that she wants her other children — Carmen, 9, Rafael, 7, Leonardo, 6, Romeo, 4, Eduardo, 2, and Lucia, 1 — to “feel like they have mama time too” now that Ilaria is home.

The Living Clearly Method author posted the selfie of her with children Eduardo and Lucia and wrote, “Bringing baby home is magical, and it’s always a transition that we all feel.”

She shared, “I am trying to balance new mom again, with breastfeeding, healing, and hustling to make sure all my children feel that I am there to be the best mama I can be.”

While juggling life as a new mom, Hilaria thanked her children for helping her out. “Grateful for these two, who come in to watch their little sister so I can shower,” she wrote in another Sept. 26 IG Story in which, Carmen and Rafael were seen holding baby Ilaria. “Best helpers.”

A report says that the actor from Mission: Impossible will play the lead role in the new movie version of the 1994 play Art.

The troubled star will be in the play with Tony Shalhoub and John Leguizamo. Tony winner Matthew Warchus will be in charge of directing the show.

This will be Baldwin’s first acting job since the 2021 Rust shooting in New Mexico, where a prop gun went off with real bullets while the actor was holding it. This killed the cinematographer.

The actor later said that he hadn’t pulled the trigger, and New Mexico’s Office of the Medical Investigator found that the shooting was an accident.

But an FBI report said that Baldwin must have pulled the trigger, which is something that Baldwin denies.

In an interview with CNN, Baldwin said that he is facing difficulty in finding work, adding, “I got fired from another job yesterday.”

“There I was all set to go to a movie, jump on a plane … I’ve been talking with these guys for months and they told me yesterday we don’t want to do the film with you because of this.”
