KARACHI: The US dollar rate in Pakistan continues its reverse-gear drive as it declined by Re0.75 to Rs286.50 paise in the open market on Wednesday (Nov 22).
During the day, currency dealers said that the rupee was traded at 286.75 for selling and 283.75 for buying purposes for customers.
The dollar closed at Rs287.25 in the open market last day
Whereas the dollar in the interbank also went cheap by Re0.66 and closed at Rs285.13. Yesterday, the dollar closed at Rs285.9.

The gap between rates in the inter-bank and open markets is required to be less than 1.25% under one of the structural benchmarks set by the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
