His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, has issued a new decree addressing judicial fees in the emirate.

Comprising 11 chapters and 39 articles, the law intricately outlines all judicial fees imposed by courts and the Public Prosecution Department.

Under this legislation, fees for civil and commercial lawsuits, rental disputes, executive cases, and requests for performance orders have been reduced, with the fee cap determined by the lawsuit’s value.

The law also incorporates fee reductions for appeals made before the Courts of Appeal and Cassation.

The primary objective of this law is to simplify access to the courts, enabling litigants to file lawsuits without shouldering excessive financial burdens.
