Court directs recording Nawaz Sharif’s statement in Toshakhana case by Nov 30

The Accountability Court of Islamabad on Monday directed authorities to record Nawaz Sharif’s statement in Toshakhana vehicle case by November 30.

The court accepted Nawaz Sharif’s application for recording his statement in the Toshakhana reference, following which National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has been directed to record Nawaz’s statement by date issued.

Accountability Court Judge Muhammad Bashir presided over the proceedings where Nawaz Sharif’s lawyer, Qazi Misbah-ul-Hassan Advocate, appeared.

The court approved the request to record Nawaz Sharif’s statement, with the direction to complete this process by November 30.

The case hearing has been adjourned until that date.

During the last hearing, Nawaz Sharif had surrendered after four years in the Toshakhana case and was granted bail on one million rupees.
