Punjab governor discusses Palestine situation with Norwegian Church Aid Country Head

LAHORE: Punjab Governor Muhammad Baligh-ur-Rehman has said the pain and suffering of the innocent children and citizens in Palestine is indescribable.

Talking to Norwegian Church Aid Country Head Anne Masterson in Lahore, he said the way NCA is serving the suffering humanity in Palestine is commendable.

Anne Masterson informed the provincial Governor about her organization’s assistance to people in different parts of world and especially in Palestine during the war.

On the other hand, Caretaker Minister for National Heritage and Culture Jamal Shah has said the Palestinians are valiant people and they will succeed in their legitimate struggle for right to self-determination.

Addressing a poster exhibition regarding Palestine in Islamabad, he said responsibility rests with the world community and the United Nations to play their role in getting stopped the Israeli atrocities against Palestinians.

The Minister for National Heritage regretted that the cowardly Israel is targeting armless Palestinians and their schools and hospitals. He said Israeli forces are not even sparing the children. He said we feel the pain and agony of Palestinian people.
