Honda Cars India recorded a monthly domestic sales figure of 9,400 units, showcasing a conservative growth rate compared to the same period last year.

Despite the launch of the new SUV, the Elevate, the numbers remained marginally lower than the previous year’s figures.

Export Numbers and Overall Sales Figures:

The company’s export numbers experienced a significant increase compared to October 2022, with 3,683 units shipped last month, as opposed to 1,678 units in the same period the previous year.

Overall, Honda sold a total of 11,171 units, including 9,861 units in the domestic market and 1,310 units in exports.

Anticipated Sales Boost During Festive Season:

Honda is optimistic about a surge in sales numbers, anticipating a boost during the upcoming festive season, including the celebrations of Dhanteras and Diwali.

Yuichi Murata, Director of Marketing and Sales at Honda Cars India Ltd., emphasized the dealership’s focus on maximizing deliveries to customers during this auspicious time.

Demand for Honda Elevate and Performance of Other Models:

According to Murata, the newly launched SUV, the Elevate, has garnered significant demand and positive reception in the market.

The strong demand during the festival period has led to an incredible response from customers, with Honda actively working to meet the increased demand for the Elevate. Additionally, the Honda City and Amaze models have sustained their strong performance in the market.
