Four arrested for aerial firing in Peshawar over Afghanistan’s win against Pakistan

PESHAWAR: At least four suspects were arrested for aerial firing in Peshawar over Afghanistan’s victory against Pakistan in the ICC World Cup in India on Monday, Bol News reported.

Police said the suspects did aerial firing while celebrating Afghanistan’s victory. They were arrested within limits of Nasir Bagh police station.

Afghanistan beat Pakistan by 8 wickets in the ICC Cricket World Cup match against Pakistan at Chennai in India on October 23.

Batting first Pakistan scored 282 runs for the loss of seven wickets in stipulated 50 overs. In reply, Afghanistan achieved the target for the loss of two wickets in 49 overs.
