KARACHI: The nights in the metropolitan city are to turn chilly in the next 24 hours as the mercury is expected to drop and hit as low as 15 °C.
The meteorological department had predicted that the temperature will go down by November 24 and the nights will turn cold at the outset of the winter season in Karachi.
The report said that the lowest temperature could be recorded between 15-17°C in the next 24 hours while the lowest temperature was recorded at 16°C during the last 24 hours.
Humidity in the air stands at 85% and the winds might blow from the northwest in the metropolis, the statement added.
Earlier, the met department predicted that the winter this year will be severe in Sindh including Karachi and the mercury will drop below the usual.
