Given that the Princess of Wales will host a carol concert, Buckingham Palace’s announcement on Friday suggests that Kate Middleton is preparing to establish a new Christmas tradition.

On December 15, the 40-year-old will serve as the event’s host in Westminster Abbey for the second consecutive year.

To “celebrate the joy that human connection can bring,” members of the royal family, charity staff, community volunteers, military personnel, and frontline workers will attend the concert.

Additionally, the three-parent mother will give a moving tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth, who passed away on September 8, 2022.

The occasion will pay homage to the principles she upheld all through her life and reign.

“These principles are shared and personified by the inspirational guests who have been invited to the Abbey from across the U.K. in recognition of their tireless efforts to help and care for those around them,” the palace said.
