WASHINGTON: The United States (US) has strongly condemned the attack on Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan during political rally.
In the statement issued by the Spokesman White House, “We wish him (Imran Khan) and all other injured a quick recovery, and we offer condolences to the family of the individual who was killed. All parties should remain peaceful and violence has no place in politics.”
Earlier, Saudi Arabia, United Kingdom, Canada and Germany have strongly condemned the attempted assassination of former Pakistani prime minister Imran Khan, the countries’ foreign ministries said on Thursday.
Saudi Arabia stands with Pakistan and its people in the face of all threats to its security, stability, and development process, the ministry said.

Saudi Arabia supports all efforts aimed at eliminating violence, extremism, and terrorism in all forms and wishes Pakistan and its people safety, stability, and prosperity, the ministry added.
