After today’s qualifying round was over, the Super 12s lineup for the T20 World Cup was decided.
On the final day of qualification, Ireland defeated West Indies while Zimbabwe defeated Scotland to go to the main tournament.
Two-time T20 World Cup champions are in peril because of Paul Stirling’s power show because they will not be attending the mega-event for the first time since it began in 2007. Ireland joined the hosts Australia, England, New Zealand, Afghanistan, and Sri Lanka in Group 1 of the tournament (qualified).
In Group 2, which also includes Pakistan, India, South Africa, Bangladesh, and the Netherlands, Zimbabwe will compete (qualified).
Following the announcement of the lineup, Pakistani fans have begun to focus on their team’s T20 World Cup campaign.
Schedule for the Pakistani team following the completion of the Group 2 lineup:
- Pakistan vs. India, MCG, Melbourne, OCT 23, 1pm
- Pakistan vs. Zimbabwe on October 27 at 4 p.m. in Perth’s Optus Stadium
- Pakistan vs. Netherlands, 30 OCT, 12 p.m., Optus Stadium, Perth
- Pakistan vs. South Africa on November 3 at 1pm at SCG in Sydney
- Pakistan vs. Bangladesh on November 6 at 9 a.m. in Adelaide at Adelaide Oval.
