When his grandmother Queen Elizabeth passed away, Prince William mentioned to volunteers and employees who assisted with the Windsor committal that the Royal Family had spotted five rainbows above Balmoral.
The Prince of Wales said that “Her Majesty was looking down on us.”
Hours prior to the Queen’s passing, William had left for Balmoral while his wife Kate Middleton stayed in Windsor with the kids.
Says Kate Middleton “”In England, too, it had been ‘extraordinary weather. Right at the end of the day, the heavens opened.”
At the age of 96, Queen Elizabeth passed away and was laid to rest alongside Prince Philip in St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
