Lahore: Chief Minister of Punjab and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hamza Shahbaz made a huge decision by announcing a complete ban on rallies in Greater Iqbal Park.
While approving the ban on power shows he said that it is not appropriate to use the historical park for rallies ans public gatherings. He has also rejected the proposal to levy entrance fees at the park. Hamza Shahbaz said that is a place for poor people and he cannot charge a fee at any cost.
Chief Minister condemned and said this topic is far from considering and it is not even appropriate to present in the meeting. He also expressed anger over the non-timely purchase of plant seeds in the previous period, he ordered an inquiry into the non-procurement of seeds on time. Hamza Shahbaz ordered planting trees and grass at the vacant place.
Earlier Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his son Hamza Shahbaz appeared on Saturday before the court in the money laundering case.
At the outset of the hearing, the court received the report regarding the arrest of co-accused Salman Shehbaz, son of Shehbaz Sharif.
Judge Ijaz Hassan Awan remarked that conflicting reports have been received about the arrest of the suspect in the case, and added the report maintained that the Model Town address does not exist.
