Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif will address the nation on Friday night.

In a tweet, she said the Prime Minister will announce the policy decisions of the coalition government on important issues.
She said Pakistan Television will air the address live at 8:00 PM.
Meanwhile, Marriyum said the government will complete its constitutional tenure and elections will be held according to the will of the coalition government.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad on Friday, she said failed long march of Imran Khan has proved that the public has rejected the violent politics of PTI.
Rejecting the impression that the government is depriving overseas Pakistanis of right to vote, she said the government is committed to devising a transparent plan of the voting process for overseas Pakistanis.
She said PTI workers has put the metro station and trees on fire and assaulted police officials during the so-called march.

Marriyum Aurangzeb said eighteen police personnel and Rangers were severely injured during the march.
