Russian occupiers in southern Ukraine attempted to launch an airstrike on Ukrainian forces using a helicopter, but the enemy was forced to retreat by Ukraine’s Armed Forces.
According to the report, this is according to the Operational Command South.
“A Mi-24 helicopter was being used by the adversary to perform an airstrike on our positions. The enemy pilot, turning away from the strike, swiftly fled without utilising weapons, thanks to a well-organized defence and the effective use of appropriate weaponry “According to the statement.
The command did not specify how the Ukrainian Armed Forces forced the occupants to flee, citing the possibility that the occupiers will launch similar actions in the future.
The Operational Command South stated, “We still have something to surprise the ruscists.”
On May 26, Ukrainian missile and artillery troops struck enemy positions in the south more than 100 times, backed up by aircraft. 35 occupiers and numerous infantry combat vehicles were destroyed, according to early data, and the enemy’s ultimate losses are still being determined.
