Kim Kardashian has expressed regret for her ex-husband Kanye West’s treatment of her family. The reality star, 41, stated on Thursday’s episode of Hulu’s The Kardashians that she was done defending the rapper, 44, and that she would never “let anyone treat” her loved ones “that way” again.
After most of her famous siblings visited her house for a family brunch, Kim, 41, voiced her sadness about how the 44-year-old famed rapper had behaving in recent years. Khloé, Kendall, Kourtney and her future husband Travis Barker, as well as their mother Kris and her lover Corey Gamble, sat down for a heart-to-heart in a breakfast nook before walking over to the dining room. When both Kim and Kris, 66, received an identical text message telling them that Kanye was going to release a new track, their chat was cut short.
According to Page Six, Kim explained to her mystified siblings, “It means he’s talking s*** about me and probably saying whatever.” Kim, on the other hand, pledged she would never fall to Kanye’s level and claimed he had “always” mistreated her family, implying the troubles preceded his mental condition and their separation. “I protected that for a long time, but I promised you folks that I would never allow that happen to you again,” Kim declared defiantly.
In February 2021, Kim filed for divorce from the Grammy winner, and the two were formally divorced in March. North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3, are their four children.
