Orbital Assembly, the US-based firm has presented additional details and plans for their space hotel project, which has been in the works since 2019.

This future project, which was first unveiled by the Gateway Foundation in California, consists of multiple modules joined by elevator shafts that form a spinning wheel around the Earth.

Orbital Assembly Corporation is currently in charge of the project.

It now plans to launch two space stations with tourist accommodations.

It will have Voyager Station.

The rebranded original design will accommodate 400 people and open in 2027.

While, Pioneer Station, which will house 28 people, could be ready in just three years.

The idea iis to create a space “business park” that will house both offices and visitors.

Space tourism appears to be closer than ever before.

Any space voyage comes at an exorbitant expense, making it difficult for many of us to imagine spending our yearly leave somewhere else.

Orbital Assembly’s chief operating officer, Tim Alatorre, believes that if space tourism takes off, this barrier will be lifted.

Alatorre said, “The idea has always been to make it possible for big groups of people to live, work, and prosper in space.”
