LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz on Monday announced the provision of free medicines across the province.

He was addressing a meeting to discuss the medical and health facilities in Punjab.

The CM also announced the recruitment of technical cadres in hospitals during the meeting.

Hamza Shehbaz directed the concerned authorities to provide quality medical services to the locals saying that the provision of medical treatment and other facilities should be ensured in the shortest possible time.

While addressing the issue of Dengue in the province, Shehbaz maintained that anti-dengue teams should be mobilized across the province.

Not only this, the newly sworn-in CM directed to ensure proper medical facilities and human resources in the hospitals.

Hamza Shehbaz administered the oath on Saturday as Punjab Chief Minister in Governor House.

The oath-taking ceremony has taken place without consent and approval of Punjab Governor Omar Sarfaraz Cheema.

The event was attended by key political personalities and federal ministers.
