Girls Aloud will rejoin for first time in nine years in memory of their late bandmate Sarah Harding.
Nadine Coyle has revealed she will return to the stage with Cheryl Tweedy, Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Robert, for a charity concert following Sarah Harding’s breast cancer death on last September.
They hope to raise funds for medical kit which will help detect cancer earlier.
The group, formed on Popstars: The Rivals in 2002, had planned a reunion tour, which was scrapped after Sarah’s death.
This one-off event is expected to take place this year.
Nadine told: “We’re planning a night for an event to raise money in honor of Sarah.
“We want to do something to help others.
“She’s very much in the forefront of our minds.
“When she became unwell, a lot of my energy was focused on her.
“Her passing has been so devastating.”
This is a U-turn from February, when Kimberley said she did not think it would be right to reunite without Sarah.
All five members performed together for the last time in March 2013 in Liverpool.
