Russian navy immediately evacuates the damaged after hit by Neptune Missile

In the Black Sea, one of the Russian Navy’s most important battleships was heavily damaged by neptune missile, dealing a major setback to a navy fighting Ukrainian opposition 50 days after Vladimir Putin’s invasion of his neighbour.

The guided-missile cruiser Moskva, the flagship of Russia’s Black Sea fleet, was evacuated after a fire aboard detonated ammunition, according to Russia’s defence ministry.

The Moskva has begun to sink, according to Ukraine’s Operational Command South, after being hit by Ukrainian Neptune anti-ship missiles.

The statement said that”In the Black Sea operational zone, Neptune anti-ship cruise missiles hit the cruiser Moskva, the flagship of the Russian Black Sea Fleet — it received significant damage,” “A fire broke out. Other units of the ship’s group tried to help, but a storm and a powerful explosion of ammunition overturned the cruiser and it began to sink.”

According to Russia’s defence ministry, The Moskva “remains afloat,” and preparations are being done to bring it to port. The personnel had been evacuated to other Black Sea Fleet ships in the region.
