Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar accepted the resignation of Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Ahmad Khan Buzdar on Friday.

Punjab Governor Sarwar has summoned the Punjab Assembly session in Lahore tomorrow at 1100 in the morning to elect a new Chief Minister.

A notification has been issued in this regard.

Earlier, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar said Prime Minister Imran Khan is fighting for the survival of the country.

He stated this while talking to Provincial Ministers and Members of Punjab Assembly who called on him in Lahore.

Punjab CM Usman Buzdar said the prime minister has taught the nation to live with dignity.

He said we are all united under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan and we will thwart every conspiracy.

He said the PTI-led government by Prime Minister Imran Khan will continue its journey of public service.

Among those who called on the Chief Minister were Dr. Akhtar Malik, Khayal Ahmed Castro, Ashraf Rind, Niaz Ahmed, Amir Nawaz Chandia and others.
