Prince Andrew accompanied the Queen to Prince Philip’s memorial on Tuesday, but he is unlikely to be seen at another public event, according to a royal expert.
In the midst of a firestorm of criticism over the duke’s attendance at the service, royal expert Dickie Arbiter said it’s unlikely he’ll attend any future royal engagements.
Mr Arbiter told GB News: “I doubt we will see him again.”
On Tuesday, Prince Andrew attended the Queen to the thanksgiving ceremony for his late father at Westminster Abbey, just weeks after negotiating an out-of-court settlement in a civil sexual assault case for millions of pounds.
The royal couple arrived in the same automobile, and Andrew assisted in escorting his mother arm-in-arm to her seat.
According to accounts, the Queen overruled Prince Charles and Prince William in allowing Andrew to accompany her to the memorial service.
