PTI made mistakes while allotting party tickets: Ali Muhammad

ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan on Thursday said the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) made mistakes while allotting party tickets for contesting elections.

“We should not have seen whether the candidate can win or not. If we had given tickets to the candidates loyal with Imran Khan then nobody could buy them. We will have to bear consequences of our mistakes,” Ali Muhammad Khan said while talking to Bol news programme Dunya Bol Hai.

He also said that Imran Khan had no personal enmity with anyone. Imran Khan wanted good relations with all the countries, he added.

The state minister said PM Khan raised voice against Islamophobia at the international level. The imperialist powers were against Imran Khan for his speaking against Israel, he maintained.

“The international powers said they will forgive the ruling party if Imran Khan is removed,” he claimed.

Ali Muhammad Khan said it was responsibility of everyone to stand up for the national interests. He also requested the opposition not to drag the state institutions in political fight.

Meanwhile, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Youth Affairs Usman Dar on Thursday said the opposition would face defeat in vote of no-confidence against Prime Minister Imran Khan as most of the parliamentarians from opposition parties were in contact with the government to join the treasury benches.

Talking to a private TV channel, he said the corrupt leadership of opposition parties was involved in horse trading in the country.

He said PM Imran Khan was a brave leader and had unveiled the international conspiracy against his government.
