Minister for Planning Asad Umar announced that today (Thursday) would be the last day of the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) operation.
The minister took to his Twitter to share the glad tiding that the Covid-19 indicators had been all-time low with a high vaccination rate.
Umar also announced that the baton was now being passed to the Ministry of Health.

“With Allah’s mercy & support of the entire nation, we have been able to overcome this unprecedented challenge. Makes me immensely proud as a Pakistani that Pak received praise for it’s Covid response as one of the most successful in the world from global agencies & personalities”, he added.
Asad Umar also appreciated working with the dedicated team of NCOC as a chairman and labeled it as the greatest privilege of his life.
It is pertinent to mention here, the Covid-19 positivity rate dropped to 0.82% in the last 24 hours with a total of 6 deaths and 244 positive cases.
