Jersey Mike, a sub and sandwich shop, has had a month of giving. The eatery will hold a Day of Giving on Wednesday at all of its locations. On March 30, 100% of all proceeds will benefit local athletes competing in the Special Olympic Games in Orlando in June.
Whatever you choose on your made-to-order sub: fresh sliced, fresh grilled, vinegar, oil, and spices, Wednesday’s totals will assist 5,500 amazing Special Olympic athletes and coaches competing in 19 sports. Jersey Mike’s is gearing up for a jam-packed sub day.

“We are trying to make a difference in someone’s life and we can do it one sub at a time and raise the money for them,” said Jersey Mike store manager Marlon Duque. “About 200 athletes are coming from New York to go to the Special Olympics. So that is really cool that we can help raise money and help send them to the games so that everybody can go.”
