The legendary boxer, Mike Tyson will make a cameo appearance in the film Liger, directed by Puri Jagannadh and starring Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday, will be released on August 25, 2022. The film was shot in Telugu and Hindi, and it will be dubbed and distributed in Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada, among other languages. Mike Tyson will make a cameo appearance in the film, and everyone is delighted to see him in an Indian film. Puri and Vijay recently revealed their second collaboration, JGM. Vijay talked out about receiving a punch from Mike Tyson during a press conference in Mumbai, where the film was introduced.

“It was strange working with Mike Tyson; it’s an experience,” Vijay stated when asked about his time working with Tyson. We’d have a discussion amongst ourselves on who the biggest stars on the planet are. Michael Jackson, Jackie Chan, Bruce Lee, and Mike Tyson were the first names that came to mind. These are the people you run into everywhere; everyone knows who they are. Unfortunately, Michael Jackson and Bruce Lee are no longer alive. Only Jackie Chan and Mike Tyson remain, and we had the opportunity to work with one of them. We were able to dine and talk with him.”

“I was thrashed by him. He hit me in the face with a punch that rattled my skull, but I was standing, which gave me a lot of confidence. ‘Tyson ne mara aur main khada hoon, now I can take anything in the world,’ I thought to myself.
