PARANOID As the terrible conflict in Ukraine rages on, Vladimir Putin and his inner circle are said to be hiding out in top-secret nuclear bunkers.
The use of high-security bunkers is concerning because it shows Putin is planning to deploy nuclear weapons, which would inevitably result in retaliation.
According to reports, Putin may be hiding out in Surgut in western Siberia, based on the movements of planes used by key Kremlin officials.
According to investigative journalist Christo Grozev, his defence minister Sergei Shoigu, who has been strangely gone for several weeks, fueling rumours about his health, is thought to be in a bunker near Ufa in the Urals, 725 miles east of Moscow.
This notion is supported by his daughter Ksenia Shoigu, 31, who visited Ufa – where she was photographed – for three days starting on March 22nd, amid widespread rumours that the defence minister was suffering from heart difficulties.
She also immediately disabled public access to her Instagram account, where she had posed with her baby in Ukraine’s blue and yellow colours.
Grozev, who has ties to the British investigative publication Bellingcat, stated, “I am quite certain that Shoigu is in a bunker.”
“We detect regular trips to Ufa when we track his plane’s activity.”
“Knowing that there are also secured bunkers in this area, this provides an apparent explanation to his dwelling.”
“This is our very reasonable perspective,” he told TV anchor Yevgeny Kiselyov in an interview with Ukraine-24.
“I believe in it and regard it as a completely analytical conclusion.”
“There can’t possibly be any other conclusion.”
“If the Kremlin’s war plan includes a nuclear strike – which it does, as [Dmitry] Peskov [Putin’s spokesperson] himself stated on CNN a few days ago – then there can be no other version.”
“If a decision to launch a nuclear weapon is made, the military leadership cannot be hidden afterwards.”
“They must be hidden ahead of time.”
“I am quite positive he is in a so-called bunker, and we notice extremely regular, nearly daily trips to Ufa by tracing the jet he typically takes.”
“Knowing that this location contains those extremely well-protected bunkers leads us to the logical conclusion.”
He suspected Putin had another bunker somewhere else.
“Most likely, he’s somewhere else, since we’re seeing other planes that are more secret than the one to Ufa.”
“These are state planes, and their transponders are turned off somewhere around Surgut.”
This city lies 1,800 miles northeast of Moscow and serves as Russia’s oil capital.
“It appears that the next phase is highly clandestine, and there is most likely a more exclusive bunker there, with the government’s elite.”
There have previously been reports that Putin relocated his close relatives to a bunker in the Altai Mountains, around 1,100 miles southeast of Surgut and 2,360 miles east of Moscow.
Grozev also alleged that Russia’s Chief of General Staff, Valery Gerasimov, is functioning from a bunker.
Ksenia Shoigu, the defence minister’s daughter, appears to have been in Ufa between March 22 and 25.
On March 22, she tweeted on her Telegram channel, “Today we are in Ufa, on a professional visit.”
According to local media, the financier was in town “at the personal invitation of the head of region on the 24th and 25th of March.”
She is the head of the Russian Triathlon Federation and supports the Hero League charity.
She went to the Patriot military-patriotic park, which is being built near Ufa.
One idea is that Putin took a break during the epidemic in November or December 2020 to tour emergency bunkers at Sarov and laster Tobolsk, which are several hundred kilometres from Surgut.
