Scarlett Byrne, who plays Hermione Granger in Harry Potter, announces baby news

Scarlett Byrne and her husband, Playboy founder Hugh Hefner’s son Cooper, have welcomed twin children.

After giving birth on Saturday, the English actress, who played Slytherin student Pansy Parkinson in the Harry Potter movie, said her “heart grew twice.”

Byrne disclosed the names of the new arrivals to her 412,000 Instagram followers in a snapshot of her cradling them in the hospital.

She wrote: “My heart grew twice as much this weekend as Cooper and I welcomed our daughters, Marigold Adele Hefner and Blossom Pearl Hefner into the world.

“Our home is full of love with our three daughters and we couldn’t be happier.”

Hefner added in a post on Twitter: “Scarlett and I are overjoyed to share that we welcomed Marigold Adele Hefner and Blossom Pearl Hefner into the world on Saturday, March 26th.

“Today, we are settling back in at home. How blessed we are to be gifted with their life. How lucky we are to be given this love.”

Betsy Rose, the couple’s 19-month-old daughter, is already theirs.

In August of 2015, Byrne apparently became engaged to Hefner.

Ellie Darcey-Alden, who played a young Lily Potter in the Harry Potter films, was one of the many people who wished her well.

She wrote: “So proud of you Scarlett! Those girls are so lucky to have you.”

Byrne made her Potter debut in the sixth instalment, Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince, and returned to repeat the part in the final two instalments.

Her character made fun of Harry and his companions and was later promoted to Slytherin prefect alongside Draco Malfoy.
