Chakki flour was available at around Rs410/5kg bag at various retail stores in Karachi, registering a decline of around Rs5/kg.
Noman Durrani, a retailer at Hijrat Colony, said that the price of a 10kg bag of Chakki flour is around Rs740, while fine flour is available at around Rs680/10kg bag.
In the last two weeks, the flour price has posted a decline of around Rs40/10kg bag.
Wholesalers and Retailers Association Chairman Fareed Qureshi said that flour No 2.5 was available in the market at Rs70/kg but its supply is restricted.
“Chakki flour is available at Rs85/kg, while fine flour is being sold at Rs75/kg. The prices have not seen a big difference last month,” he added.
