Atif Aslam confesses he misses Bollywood, Shares emotional reflection

Atif Aslam is one of Pakistan’s most loved singers, admired worldwide for his soulful voice and powerful high notes. With 10.7 million Instagram followers, he enjoys a massive fan following at home and abroad. Known for hit songs like Aadat, Kuch Is Tarha, Ba Khuda, and Dil Diyan Gallan, Atif continues to win hearts through his live performances. Recently, he has been busy with back-to-back concerts across Pakistan and overseas.

Currently on tour in Canada, Atif sat down for an interview with Canada-based Indian host and journalist Faridoon Sheharyar. In the conversation, he praised Bollywood and openly admitted that he misses working there.

“If we talk about Pakistan, we don’t have many big names and singers, but even with limited resources, Allah blessed me with a chance to reach Bollywood. That’s the biggest blessing of my life. He made me shine in such a big world, and I can never thank Him enough. Of course, I miss Bollywood. It’s been eight to ten years now. I miss performing there, recording in studios, and spending time with friends. But I am happy that music is flourishing everywhere,” Atif said.

Speaking about his experience singing for Salman Khan, Atif recalled, “We were in Dubai with Vishal-Shekhar. I remember he asked me to sing in low notes, while people usually expect high notes from me. When I sang softly, a beautiful melody came out, and the lyrics were amazing too. Yes, I sang for Salman Khan, and it’s always a pleasure because we’ve met a few times. What a man, what a guy.”
